I came across this webcast invitation and wanted to pass it along to you. The webcast covers EMC’s new offering to help customers move from Notes to the Microsoft platform.
It looks like the webcast is an effect of the agreement signed earlier this year between Steve Ballmer and Joe Tucci.
There has been a lot of buzz about the agreement internally since April (about a month after it was signed), and I have started to see internal changes being influenced by it, we are training our consultants early on MS releases (like sharepoint, Exchange, Office, etc), we are working closer with MS consultants, and are generally making a larger investment in the Microsoft space. Of course we are still a big storage shop, but it’s nice to have this level of interest in the Microsoft platforms.
So it looks to be an interesting webcast, I have signed up, I hope you do too.
